The protection of your individual-related data that is processed during your visit  is an important concern of ours. We want you to feel secure, when visiting our webpages. In the following we elaborate which data are collected by Scheurich during your visit and how they are used.

Individual-related data

The term “individual-related data” refers to pieces of information about personal or material facts relating to a certain or identifiable natural person. This includes information such as your real name, address, telephone number and date of birth. Pieces of information that don’t directly relate to your real identity (user data) - such as favoured webpages or the number of users of a website and IP address are not individual-related data.

Collection, processing and usage of individual-related data

When you are visiting our webpages, our web servers automatically but temporarily store user data to ensure system security; this concerns the connection data of the computer (IP address) sending the request, which webpages you are browsing, the date and duration of your visit, the characteristics of the used browser and type of operating system, as well as the website that referred you to ours. These data are evaluated for statistical purposes. No individual-related data are used for such statistical evaluations. A backtracking of individual users does not take place.

In the case that you are using a form on our website that offers the entry of individual-related data (email address, name, physical address), you are doing so completely voluntarily. Scheurich uses your transmitted data solely for the purpose of processing your inquiry without your separate declaration of consent. Your entered individual-related data will of course be handled with confidentiality and are not passed on, sold or otherwise marketed to third parties, unless you have given your explicit consent.

Data-protection declaration regarding online job applications

Thank you for your interest in our online job openings. The protection of your personal data is an important concern of ours. We therefore inform you in the following  in compliance with the relevant data protection regulations about the collection, processing and usage of your data in the course of an online job application.

Data collection

In the course of your online application we collect and process the following personal information of yours:
•    Name, first name
•    Address
•    Phone number
•    Email address
•    Job-application information (cover letter, curriculum vitae, diplomas, certificates etc.)

Purpose of data collection and transfer

The collection and processing of your personal job-application information is done exclusively for the purpose of staffing job openings within our company. On principle, your data are only passed on to the persons within our human-resources department and the concerned departments responsible for the application process in question. Your personal job application information is not passed on to other companies within the corporate network, for example PP-Plastic GmbH & Co. KG, unless you have given your explicit consent prior to such transfer.
Further use of your job application information or transfer to third parties does not take place.

Storage period of job application information

Generally, your personal job application information is deleted three months after the conclusion of the application process. Deletion does not take place if there are legal provisions that conflict with such a deletion, if a prolonged storage is required for legal reasoning, or if you have given your explicit consent to a prolonged storage.

Storage for future job openings

If there are currently no job openings for your application, but if we think that your application may fit a future job opening due to your professional profile, we will save your job application information for a period of twelve months if you are giving such storage and usage your explicit consent.

Data security

To keep the data collected during your job application safe from manipulation or unauthorised access, we have taken a number of technical and organisational precautions. In particular, the transfer of your online application is encrypted in compliance with the current recognised state-of-the-art technology.

Usage of Google Analystics

We are determined to continually improve our offerings and therefore use the evaluation tool “Google Analytics”. This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service of Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so called “cookies”, text files which are stored on your computer and which make the analysation of your use of this website possible. The pieces of information about your use of this website (including your IP address) are transferred to a server owned by Google and located in the USA.

Google will use these data to evaluate your use of the website to compile reports about website activity for the website operators and to render further services regarding website and internet usage. Google will pass these pieces of information on to third parties if required to do so by law or if data processing is executed by third parties on behalf of Google. In no case will Google associate your IP address with other data collected by Google. You can prevent cookies from being installed by configuring your browser accordingly. However, we would like to point out that this may also prevent you from using the full functionality of this website.

By using this website you accept the processing of your collected data by Google and in the aforementioned manner and for the aforementioned purposes. It is possible at any point in time to object the future collection and storage of data. We would like to point out that this website uses Google Analystics with the extension “_anonymizeIp()” and therefore only processes shortened IP addresses to rule out that data can be used to identify individuals.  

Usage of Google Maps

This website uses Google Maps for the visualisation of maps and to put together directions.  Google Maps is operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. By using this website you are accepting that Google, its representatives and third-party service providers collect, process and use your automatically collected data as well as the data entered by you. We have integrated plugins of the social-media platform Facebook (Facebook Inc., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, California, 94025, USA) on our webpages. You can identify these plugins on our website by the Facebook logo or the “Like-button”. Please find an overview of Facebook plugins here:

Various pages of contain so called embedded YouTube videos. only facilitates the connection to YouTube. YouTube is a service offered by Goolge Inc.. Usage of cookies

This website uses cookies to create so called sessions. In the process, data are stored on the server and deleted at most 24 hours later. Additionally, cookies by Google Analytics are installed. Please refer to the section further above regarding Google Analytics. Blocking or rejecting cookies may hinder some functionalities of this website.
In rare cases, if we have to store individual-related data in a cookie, we will request your explicit approval beforehand. Please also note that most common browsers offer options for disabling/enabling cookies.


Scheurich is taking all necessary technical and organisational security precautions to prevent  your individual-related data from being lost or misused. Your data is stored in a secure operating environment which is not publicly accessible. If you would like to contact Scheurich by email, please note that the confidentiality of your transmitted information cannot be guaranteed. The content of emails can be inspected by third parties. We therefore recommend you only send us confidential information by postal mail.
