Green Electricity from the Company´s Own Roof
Scheurich´s Sunny Views
In June 2010, the new photovoltaic installation of Scheurich company was started. During previous weeks photovoltaic modules had been installed on the roof of the production building over an area of more than 1,500 square metres.
Scheurich highlights sustainability. When searching for an environmentally friendly alternative instead of conventional electricity, it was therefore obvious to decide on solar energy. Photovoltaic is absolutely friendly to the climate and treats the environment respectfully when producing energy, as the installation works without erosion, emission, and ecological damage. With view to future generations, it is a responsible investment as it combines ecological and economical aspects. By this “Green Technique” Scheurich expects a CO2-reduction of totally 1,600 t in the years to come. |
